Mother’s Cry

At the swap meet, the little girl slipped away from her mother's hand. Panic surged in the mother's heart, pounding, breath quickening. She scanned the crowd and asked the seller at the booth if anyone had seen her daughter, her voice trembling with rising dread. The people at the swap meet got involved and began helping the mother find her daughter.
